OMG ALEX IS NOT DEAD! THEY CAN'T KILL THE ENTIRE GODDAMN ROUSSEAU FAMILY! ...right?

Ben thought he was bluffing, but he wasn't. I can't believe it, and she was so frightened... and Penelope! Ben can't kill Penny, he just can't. She and Desmond are TMFEO (I feel like such a shipper, but they are).

I was so surprised that Claire didn't die when her house blew up. I have been expecting her death ever since the whole mom!Kate flashforward thing. But Sawyer being manly and telling Locke and Ben off was awesome-sauce. I like how he was all "I'm going back to the beach. Claire's coming. Hurley's coming." And then he was willingly to fight to protect Hurley. I totally believe that he'll kick Locke's ass if anything happens to him. And if I was Claire I would have gone with Sawyer too, he was just so imposing.

And LE GASP, Dan is a liar? I expected it from the other rescuers, but Dan? Et tu?

Sayid was my favorite character, but I'm kind of disappointed with him this season. I don't like future Sayid, and I don't like that apparently everyone has forgotten Shannon. My friend orange_yarn isn't a Shannon fan, and I know she can't be the only one who isn't, but still it kind of irks me that Sayid was all "I love you" and he mourned her for the rest of the season, and then he was just... over it. It's not cool. On the other hand I feel bad for him because the women he loves have a tendency to get themselves up and shot.

SUPERNATURAL

Oh my love, what can I say about you? Other than... ED AND HARRY! ED AND HARRY! ED AND HARRY! AND BOY!LOVE? WTF?!

Dude, that "he's the more rugged one, with his beautiful golden beard..." I had such a squee!zure. And Sammy's party hat! When the guy was all "this won't hurt" I was like "...but Sammy's already been tortured once this season" and then there was a party hat tilted to one side. My brain overloaded for a minute. That's what my friend orange_yarn and I call a "squee!anneurism." And the ending was superb. I was saying before that I'm a little tired of the funny Supernatural episodes and I want to get back to horror, but this eppy was so good I don't even care!

This is actually an icon that I made of Joanna "Jo" Harvelle from Supernatural. She was a short-lived but much loved (and hated) character. I personally think that a lot of the hate for her was because she was introduced to be a love interest on a show with many many fangirls who've a rabid hatred of love interests. :) But I thought she was cool, and in some ways very tragic, hence the somber tone of the icon.

Le sigh. What can I possibly say about my true love Xanatos? He's an EU Star Wars character. He and his spawn (who is not nearly as cool) are only blatantly featured in the short novels by Jude Watson, though they're mentioned throughout the SW EU. He was Qui-Gon's second apprentice (so right before Obi-Wan) and his greed and pride ruined his chances of being a Jedi Knight. Qui-Gon was forced to kill Xanatos's father Crion in battle, slicing through one side of his ring as he aimed his lightsaber to kill. Xanatos picked up this searing ring and pressed it against his cheek, burning a broken circle scar which has from then on been his symbol. Qui-Gon hadn't seen him again for years when Xanatos returned, drugged and kidnapped Obi-Wan (who was 13 at the time) on Bandomeer and dropped him off to be a slave for a mining facility. Xanatos is presumed dead after jumping into a pit of acid so that Qui-Gon could not take him prisoner. His last words were "I am your biggest failure. Live with that, and live with this." His son (who was not force sensitive) later takes Anakin hostage and reveals his lineage to him. The son dies right after discovering that Palpaltine is the Sith Lord the Jedi had been looking for, but his hatred for the Jedi leads him to not tell Obi-Wan as he dies.

This is an icon from the movie "Silent Hill," which has some crazy religious themes. I just found the phrase very powerful, even though I myself am not religious.

Despite his brief appearance Darth Maul is my favorite Sith Lord. After reading the journal from his PoV during Episode I and the novel Shadow Hunter I always kind of sympathized with him. Plus I think he's really hot. Is that creepy?

I'm really stoked about this game.

So, once upon a time there was this ridiculous TV station called MTV, and MTV had an annual show called the VMAs. The VMAs were ripe with music performances and amazing awards, as well as some funny comedians and some not so funny comedians (CoughSilvermancough). Personally, I've never had a problem with MTV enough to bash it until they let Sarah Silverman get up there and insult Britney Spears's babies.

All I've heard since the VMAs aired was how "fat" Britney looked. Before I examine this further, let's look at some photos, shall we?

Yep, definitely digustingly fat. I mean, she's only had two kids, how dare she appear on stage with pudge? Shame on her, she should have starved herself for at least a week before appearing. It's common sense.

I'm not trying to say that she should have appeared in that outfit, frankly I feel like it was a complete mistake, but who are we to say that she's "fat" and her belly is "bulging." TMV.com said that she looks like a house! I hope that when I've had ONE kid I look as good as her. I would love to see all these critics appear on stage in that outfit and see how sexy they are. It's awful that we criticize models for being too skinny, and then when a healthy mother of two takes the stage we say she's too fat. What kind of message is that sending? And, to be honest, I feel that Britney is still a very attractive woman. Her breasts and ass have taken the weight just fine, and not once was there jiggling fat, as most would know if they actually watched the video. I couldn't pull that outfit off now, and I'm 18-years-old, a size 6, and haven't had any kids. So let's humor the idea that maybe it was the outfit and not her. Granted, she's pulled off more revealing at the VMAs,

but that was six years ago and pre-babies. Give her a break.

As for the performance itself I would never call it good. Frankly, it wasn't, but there were extenuating circumstances involved. Such as Sarah Silverman, the bitch of the night in my opinion. She said that Britney's babies were the "cutest mistakes she's ever seen" and that they're "as cute as the bald vagina they came out of." She then proceeded to make a disgusting face to emphasize how ugly Britney's babies are. I'm sorry, was that thing that Silverman crossed the line? I don't think she noticed. It's one thing to make fun of Britney, but to make fun of her babies when she can freaking hear you is just wrong. Silverman did this right before Britney sang, and people are saying that Britney was backstage bawling her eyes out the entire time. I thought that comedians were supposed to make people laugh, not cry. Silverman also said that it was "cute" that 50 cent was still alive and she called Paris Hilton "whorey," neither of which are funny to me, but I digress. Imagine performing for people that mocked your babies, and think for a minute how you would perform after crying. MTV is lucky that she even went on, I don't think I would have.

All I've saying is give the girl a break, we all need one every so often.

So I've started my counselor training at Camp and the experience thus far has been... interesting. I swear this has been the longest five hours of my life.

First of all, don't get me wrong, the people are really great. They're all friendly and nice, but honestly I just don't think that this is the place for me. I just sat through a 2 and a half hour seminar about understanding people and your own values. I know myself very well and I don't need someone to tell me how to know myself better. I also hate that I'm going to be stuck here pretty much 24/7.

I miss my friends and my freedom already. And I have a throbbing headache.

I can't even call any of my friends, I have a cold and my voice is completely shot, like you can only understand me if you read lips. I feel worse then I did yesterday. Goddammit. But it's not even one of those sicknesses where you just want to lay around, I want to be up and moving, but when I do I just feel like I'm going to pass out... this sucks.

Been Awhile

I haven't updated this thing in forever, but you know...

Anyway, I saw three new movies this weekend. The Black Dahlia was Friday night, and it was amazing. Though there were some creepy lesbians and an uber-creepy implied threesome, but it was still great. There was major pathos for Josh Hartnett's character, I think his name was Dwight. There were a lot of good people in the movie, but he was the only one that was truly good. He was honest and all that crap, whereas everyone else was lying about something.

Then there was the Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo and Fullmetal Alchemist: Conqueror of Shamballa(sp?). TT was really funny, and it tied in the end of the series way better then the last episode did, or so I hear. Apparently Terra the Whore ruined the last episode. I have mixed feelings for FMA. It was a great movie, but if it truly is the end of the series then I'm not happy in the least. It was bittersweet, and I felt horrible for Winry at the end.

Xanatos: But you're also hyper-critical of movies.

Me: I am NOT.

Xanatos: You are when it affects characters that you love.

Me: But I can always find good things mixed in with the bad. Observe, my view of the FMA movie:

POSSIBLE SPOILER.
Al made a point of telling Ed that he's not the only one who misses him, that Winry misses him too, but she STILL ends up alone. I'm not much of a Winry/Ed shipper, but it was completely obvious that she was in love with him.
Ignoring that, I loved the way they ended Roy and the military group's story. Even though Roy was no longer their commanding officer, when he walked up and starting giving orders it was all:

Havoc: What? Roy's talking? Let's all fall to our knees and perk up our ears like puppy dogs!
Farman: Yeah, and then, then we can lick his feet!

It was pretty funny. And once again, there was implied Riza/Roy.
There were some disturbing sequences though, like when Gluttony pretty much bit Wrath in half. I was cringing through that. And I nearly threw a fit when Envy killed Hoenheim(sp?). But overall the movie was pretty spifftastic.

Well, it you lasted until here congratulations. I think that's really all I have to say. I'm not even going to bother to proofread this I don't think.

So I'm reading the sequel to Twilight, New Moon (by Stephanie Meyer), and just in case anyone intends to read it, the first like, 200 hundred pages are EXTREMELY depressing, so considerate yourselves forewarned. I swear, I stopped reading twenty minutes ago and I'm still sitting here listening to Jewell's first cd and wanting to cry. I feel so emo. But I mean... AH IT'S SO DEPRESSING. And for anyone who's read Twilight but not New Moon, Edward turns into a PRICK. Well, maybe not completely... but he still pisses me off...

"You were fashionably sensitive, but too cool to care. You stood in my doorway, with nothing to say, besides some comment on the weather. In case you failed to notice, in case you failed to see, this is my heart bleeding before you..."

Okay, I thought that I'd share my emo Jewell song with you guys.

Anyway, happier topic. I'm mostly posting this because my friend Orange_yarn was getting annoyed with my severe lack of LJ stuff. But I joined a community! *points*

Oh, and if CaptainKase reads this, I practice my mad martial art skills EVEN when I'm depressed. *waves fist threateningly* Someday I'll admit that I actually do like you and your stories, but not until we cagefight for CoP.

School starts wednesday, here's what my schedule is looking like...

*Sigh* I ended up in a lot of classes I didn't want because of scheduling conflicts. What a way to spend senior year. Oh well, I have three classes with my best friend third tri so I'll have to live for that.
